Úprava učebny katedry Centra Audiovizuálních Studií FAMU v podkroví budovy školy v Lažanském paláci. Hlavní cíle úlohy, kterými jsou zlepšení sociálních a pobytových kvalit prostoru katedry a motivace studentů k trávení času a práci v prostoru katedry, návrh realizuje vizuálním propojením a vytvořením nového pobytového místa - výklenku s prosklenou stěnou a sedací lavicí - v rozhraní učebny a chodby. Délka prosklení umožňuje vizuální kontakt v lineárním pohybu chodbou a dostatečný vstup denního světla do jejího prostoru. Dispozice tvarově složitého podkrovního prostoru učebny je uvolněná od původního vestavěného skladu. Vizuální rozšíření prostoru a jeho sjednocení je podpořeno reflexemi stávající podlahy v hliníkovém povrchu nového vestavěného nábytku. Provedení je ekonomické jak v konstrukci, tak v materiálu, odpovídá tak pracovnímu prostředí vysoké školy kreativního zaměření.

Studio for Department of the Center for Audiovisual Studies at FAMU, located in the attic level of the school's building in Lažanský Palace. The design addresses the primary objectives of enhancing the social and spatial qualities of the department’s environment and motivating students to spend time and work within the department space itself. This is achieved by visually connecting the classroom with the adjacent corridor through the introduction of a new inhabitable feature—a niche with a glazed partition and integrated seating bench—positioned at the interface between the classroom and the hallway.
The length of the glazed element enables continuous visual contact during linear movement along the corridor while allowing daylight penetration into its space. The previously complex attic layout of the classroom is opened by the removal of an original built-in storage unit. The perceived expansion and unification of the space are further reinforced by the spatial reflections of original blue floor in the aluminum surfaces of the newly integrated built-in furniture. The execution is economical in both construction and material choice, appropriately reflecting the functional and creative character of a university working environment.
